THE VICE GUY

Editorial policy

How The Vice Guy handles sourcing, corrections, rumors, spoilers, and AI assistance.

Sourcing

Primary official sources receive the highest trust. Community reports may trigger research but cannot become confirmed facts without supporting evidence.

AI assistance

AI may assist research, extraction, drafting, and evaluation. Generated content is never published without human approval, and unsupported factual claims are rejected.

Corrections and versions

Material editorial changes create a version record. Corrections preserve source provenance rather than silently rewriting history.

Rumors and spoilers

Rumors are labeled as unverified and never appear in confirmed fact tables. Spoiler levels are attached to content from the beginning.

Copyright and leaked material

Source ingestion stores text and metadata needed for research; it does not automatically download source images or video. The Vice Guy does not publish stolen builds or leaked pre-release footage and does not assume that an online asset is licensed for reuse.

Affiliates and advertising

Commercial links are stored separately from editorial copy. If active affiliate links or advertising are introduced, they will be clearly disclosed and will not determine claim verification, evaluation, or editorial approval.
