Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is now playing. Rockstar says the presentation was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5 and describes it as a look at the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.
The footage follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos through a drug deal gone wrong, apartment life, driving, robberies, combat, and escapes across Leonida. It also shows the pair operating together or separately during missions and demonstrates a character-switching presentation familiar to GTA V players.
The reveal includes a revised police-search display, clothing and mask choices before crimes, dirt-bike racing, kayaking, fan boats, parachuting, and social-media scenes inside the game world. Some brief activities were shown without a full mechanical explanation, so this report does not treat every animation as a confirmed player-controlled system.
Rockstar closed the presentation by reaffirming the November 19, 2026 release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Vice Guy will keep footage-backed details separate from preview claims, leaks, and fan interpretation as more information arrives.
